QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted a Working at Heights (WAH) Webinar for Wildflour Bakery + Café Corp. on June 7, reinforcing workplace safety awareness and risk management for employees involved in elevated work activities.
The training focused on the identification of fall hazards, proper use of fall protection equipment, risk assessment procedures, and safe work practices necessary when performing tasks at elevated locations. Participants gained a deeper understanding of the importance of hazard control, planning, and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health standards to prevent falls and other related incidents.
Discussions also emphasized the responsibilities of both employers and workers in ensuring that work at heights is conducted safely and efficiently. Through practical examples and workplace scenarios, participants were guided on how to recognize potential risks and implement preventive measures before work begins.
The session was facilitated by Roger Flores, a DOLE-accredited Occupational Safety and Health Consultant with extensive experience in workplace safety, disaster risk reduction, and emergency preparedness. Drawing from his professional background, he shared practical insights that helped participants better appreciate the importance of maintaining safe work practices while working at elevated areas.
