QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted two batches of the Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH SO1) Webinar Training for TELUS International Philippines Inc. on July 6 and July 13, reinforcing the company's commitment to developing a safety-conscious workforce and maintaining compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards.

The Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 1 (SO1) equipped participants with fundamental knowledge on workplace hazard identification, accident prevention, risk management, and the responsibilities of employers and workers in creating and maintaining safe working environments. The program also emphasized the importance of proactive safety leadership and employee participation in achieving a strong organizational safety culture.

The first batch, conducted on July 6, was facilitated by Ashley Kathryn Campos, a DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Consultant with 11 years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health within the manufacturing industry. She shared practical insights on implementing effective workplace safety programs and applying OSH principles to everyday operations.

The second batch, held on July 13, was facilitated by Claire Terre, a DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Consultant, DENR Pollution Control Officer, Certified Radiation Safety Officer, and Licensed Chemical Engineer with more than 15 years of Occupational Safety and Health experience. Through practical discussions and industry-based examples, she reinforced the importance of hazard prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuous safety improvement.
