QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted two batches of Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH SO1) Webinar Training for Tanduay Brands, with the first batch held on May 23 and the second batch conducted on June 13, 2026.

The Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 1 (SO1) is designed to provide participants with a strong foundation in occupational safety and health principles, including hazard identification, accident prevention, risk awareness, and the responsibilities of employers and workers under Occupational Safety and Health Standards. Conducting the training in multiple batches enabled more employees to participate while ensuring continuity of operations within the organization.

Throughout the sessions, participants gained practical knowledge on workplace safety practices and the importance of fostering a proactive safety culture. The discussions emphasized how safety awareness contributes not only to regulatory compliance but also to employee well-being, operational efficiency, and overall organizational performance.

The training was facilitated by Kareen Riño, a DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Consultant, DENR Pollution Control Officer, FDA Accredited Radiation Safety Officer, and Industrial Hygienist. Drawing from her extensive experience in occupational safety, health, and environmental management, she provided valuable insights that helped participants better understand the practical application of OSH principles in the workplace.
