Demonstrating its continued commitment to workplace safety and employee development, Sumisho Motor Finance Corporation once again partnered with QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC for a Mandatory (8) – Eight Hours Occupational Safety and Health Orientation Webinar conducted on June 16.
Following previous successful engagements with QESH, the latest training further strengthened employees' understanding of Occupational Safety and Health fundamentals, including workplace hazard identification, accident prevention, risk awareness, and the respective responsibilities of employers and workers under the Occupational Safety and Health Standards. The webinar reinforced the importance of maintaining a proactive safety culture and ensuring that safety remains an integral part of daily workplace operations.
The session was facilitated by Reginald Basco, a DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Consultant, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, and Registered Civil Engineer with over 19 years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health. Drawing from his extensive industry expertise, he shared practical workplace applications and real-life examples that enabled participants to better appreciate the importance of preventive safety practices and regulatory compliance.
