8-hour Mandatory Orientation Conducted for Sumisho Motor Finance Corporation

QUEZON CITY — QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted an exclusive 8-hour Mandatory Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Orientation for Sumisho Motor Finance Corporation, with 72 employees completing the training last December 22, 2025.

The orientation formed part of Sumisho Motor Finance Corporation’s continuing efforts to strengthen workplace safety awareness, reinforce compliance with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regulations, and promote a culture of shared responsibility among employees and management.

During the session, participants were guided through the fundamental principles of occupational safety and health, including employer and worker responsibilities, hazard identification, accident prevention, and safe work practices applicable to office-based and operational environments. Emphasis was placed on recognizing everyday workplace risks and addressing them through proactive and preventive measures.

The session was facilitated by Reginald Basco, a DOLE-accredited Occupational Safety and Health Consultant with over 19 years of professional experience, ensuring that discussions were aligned with regulatory standards while remaining practical and relevant to real workplace scenarios.

The training also highlighted the importance of compliance not merely as a regulatory requirement, but as a strategic investment in employee well-being, productivity, and organizational sustainability. Participants were encouraged to actively participate in safety initiatives and to contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
