NUEVA ECIJA — QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted a Behavioral-Based Safety (BBS) Training for Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization on May 19 in Nueva Ecija.

The training focused on strengthening participants' understanding of how individual actions, workplace habits, and daily decisions influence overall safety performance. Rather than focusing solely on procedures and compliance, Behavioral-Based Safety emphasizes the role of human behavior in preventing incidents and creating a safer work environment.

Throughout the session, participants explored the relationship between workplace behavior and accident prevention, gaining practical insights on how positive safety habits can reduce risks and improve operational safety. Discussions also highlighted the importance of observation, communication, accountability, and leadership in developing a sustainable safety culture.

The training was facilitated by Ronald Baniqued, who shared practical experiences and real-world examples that helped participants better understand how behavioral-based approaches can be integrated into everyday work activities.
