QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted a Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH SO1) Online Training for PMS Primepower Network, Inc. on July 27, 2026, supporting the company’s commitment to strengthening workplace safety awareness and developing personnel equipped to contribute to its Occupational Safety and Health programs.
The Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 1 (SO1) provided participants with foundational knowledge on workplace safety and health, including hazard identification, risk awareness, accident prevention, and the roles and responsibilities of employers and workers in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
Through the online session, participants were introduced to practical OSH concepts that can be applied to their day-to-day responsibilities. The training emphasized that effective workplace safety goes beyond meeting requirements—it also depends on informed employees, proactive hazard recognition, and consistent implementation of safe work practices.
The session was facilitated by Claire Terre, a DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Consultant, DENR Pollution Control Officer, Certified Radiation Safety Officer, and Licensed Chemical Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health. Drawing from her extensive professional background, she shared practical insights and workplace applications that helped participants better understand their role in preventing incidents and supporting organizational safety initiatives.
