TAGUIG CITY — QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted a Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH SO1) Face-to-Face Training for Mynt Inc. on May 8 in Taguig City.
The Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 1 (SO1) was designed to equip participants with fundamental knowledge on workplace safety and health, including hazard identification, accident prevention, risk awareness, and the roles and responsibilities of employers and workers under Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
The training emphasized the importance of building a proactive safety culture within the workplace and developing competent personnel who can contribute to the implementation of safety programs and compliance initiatives. Participants gained practical insights into recognizing workplace hazards, promoting safe work practices, and supporting organizational safety objectives.
The session was facilitated by Reginald Basco, a DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Consultant, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, and Registered Civil Engineer with over 19 years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health. Drawing from his extensive industry experience, he shared practical applications and real-world examples that helped participants better understand how safety principles can be effectively applied in various workplace settings.
