PASIG CITY — QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted a Hydraulic Equipment Safety Training (Face-to-Face) for MIESCOR on June 11 in Pasig City.
The training was designed to provide participants with a deeper understanding of hydraulic systems, associated workplace hazards, and the safety measures necessary when operating, maintaining, or working around hydraulic equipment. Discussions covered hazard identification, safe operating procedures, preventive maintenance practices, energy isolation controls, and emergency response considerations.
As hydraulic equipment is widely used across construction, engineering, and utility operations, the training emphasized the importance of proper inspection, safe handling procedures, and adherence to established safety protocols to prevent workplace incidents and equipment-related injuries.
The session was facilitated by Reginald Basco, a DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Consultant, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, and Registered Civil Engineer with over 19 years of Occupational Safety and Health experience. Drawing from his extensive industry background, he provided practical insights and real-world applications that helped participants better understand the safe operation and management of hydraulic equipment in the workplace.
