BATANGAS — QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted a Mandatory (8) – Eight Hours Safety and Health Orientation (Face-to-Face) for Mariwasa Siam Ceramics, Inc. on March 24 at San Antonio, Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

The Mandatory 8-Hour OSH Orientation provided participants with essential knowledge on occupational safety and health principles, including hazard identification, accident prevention practices, and the responsibilities of employers and workers in maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. The session emphasized the importance of building strong safety awareness as part of daily work operations and organizational safety programs.

The training was facilitated by Reginald Basco, a DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Consultant, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, and Registered Civil Engineer with over 19 years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health. His professional experience provided valuable insights on applying OSH principles in operational environments, particularly in industries with higher exposure to workplace hazards.

Through structured discussions and practical examples, participants were guided on how safety principles can be effectively implemented in actual workplace settings. The training supports organizations in strengthening their internal safety programs while ensuring alignment with Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
