Manila Catering Corporation Completes Level 3 FoodSHAP® HACCP Training
Published February 7, 2026
CAINTA, RIZAL — QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC, in partnership with FoodSHAP®, conducted a face-to-face Level 3 FoodSHAP® HACCP Principles and Practice Training for Manila Catering Corporation on February 4–5, 2026.
The two-day program was designed to deepen participants’ understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)—a structured, preventive system used to identify, evaluate, and control food safety hazards across food operations. The training emphasized not only technical knowledge, but also the practical requirements needed to develop and maintain a HACCP-based program within a catering environment.
Throughout the training, participants reviewed the foundation of HACCP through a Prerequisite Programs (PRPs) Review, reinforcing the importance of controls that must already be in place before HACCP can be effectively implemented. The session then progressed into the Process Approach to HACCP, helping participants view food safety through each step of operations—from preparation to handling, storage, and service—while identifying where food safety risks may occur.
The face-to-face setup enabled focused discussions, clearer examples, and direct clarification of HACCP concepts relevant to catering operations. Participants were encouraged to treat HACCP not as a “paper requirement,” but as a practical system that protects consumers, supports consistent food quality, and strengthens operational credibility.
QESH extends its sincere appreciation to Manila Catering Corporation for its continued trust and commitment to strengthening food safety competence within its organization. Investing in Level 3 HACCP training reflects the company’s strong direction toward more structured food safety systems and proactive risk prevention.
