QESH × FoodSHAP® Bring Level 2 Food Safety Training to Manila Catering Corp.

CAINTA, RIZAL — QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC, in partnership with FoodSHAP®, successfully conducted a Face-to-Face Level 2 FoodSHAP® – Basic Food Safety Training for Food Handlers for Manila Catering Corporation on December 23, 2025, with 20 food handlers participating.

The training was conducted to strengthen food safety awareness, proper food handling practices, and hygiene standards critical to catering and food service operations. Given the nature of the industry, the session emphasized the role of food handlers in preventing contamination and protecting public health.

Participants were trained on personal hygiene requirements, prevention of foodborne illnesses, safe food preparation and storage, sanitation practices, and maintaining cleanliness across food handling areas. The face-to-face setup allowed for interactive discussions, real-time clarification, and practical examples based on daily kitchen operations.

The training reinforced the importance of food safety as a shared responsibility, highlighting how individual actions directly impact food quality, consumer trust, and business reputation. Participants were encouraged to apply food safety principles consistently across all stages of food handling.
