QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted an online Working at Heights (WAH) Training for MAEC Engineering Services on September 7, 2026, supporting the company’s commitment to protecting personnel who may be exposed to fall hazards and other risks associated with working at elevated locations.

Working at heights requires proper preparation, hazard recognition, and consistent implementation of appropriate safety controls. The training provided participants with essential knowledge on identifying height-related hazards, understanding fall risks, and applying preventive measures before and during elevated work activities.

The program covered key areas such as fall prevention and protection, proper use and inspection of applicable safety equipment, hazard assessment, safe work procedures, and emergency preparedness. Participants were also reminded of the importance of planning each task and ensuring that appropriate control measures are established before work at height begins.

The webinar was facilitated by Roger Flores, a DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Consultant, holder of a PNP License to Exercise Security Profession for Security Manager and Security Officer, and a safety professional with more than 20 years of experience in the safety and health profession.

Drawing from his extensive professional experience, Flores provided practical discussions that helped participants connect Working at Heights principles with actual workplace conditions. The session reinforced that preventing falls requires not only appropriate equipment but also competent personnel, effective planning, and consistent adherence to safe work procedures.

QESH expressed its sincere appreciation to MAEC Engineering Services for entrusting its Working at Heights Training requirements to QESH. The company’s initiative reflects a strong commitment to employee development, hazard prevention, and strengthening safety practices for high-risk work activities.

Through this collaboration, QESH continues to support MAEC Engineering Services in enhancing workforce competency and sustaining a proactive safety culture across its operations.
