LANAO — QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted a Crane Lifting and Rigging Safety Training (CLRST) for Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation on September 3, 2026, in Lanao. The face-to-face program supported the company’s commitment to strengthening workplace safety and developing personnel involved in lifting and rigging activities.

Crane lifting and rigging operations require careful planning, proper equipment selection, effective communication, and strict adherence to established safety procedures. The training provided participants with essential knowledge for recognizing hazards associated with lifting operations and understanding the controls necessary to reduce risks to personnel, equipment, and surrounding operations.

Participants were guided through key principles involving lifting preparation, rigging practices, load handling, inspection of lifting equipment and accessories, hazard identification, and the roles and responsibilities of personnel involved in lifting activities. The program also reinforced the importance of coordination and clear communication throughout every stage of a lifting operation.

The training was facilitated by Roger Flores, a DOLE-accredited Occupational Safety and Health Consultant with extensive experience in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM), emergency preparedness, and workplace safety. Through practical discussions and workplace-based scenarios, he helped participants relate lifting and rigging safety principles to actual operational conditions.
