QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted a Working at Heights (WAH) Webinar for Fermar Builders on May 23, providing participants with essential knowledge and practical guidance on safely performing tasks in elevated work environments.

The training focused on the identification of fall hazards, proper use of fall protection systems, risk assessment procedures, and safe work practices necessary for activities conducted above ground level. Participants gained a deeper understanding of the importance of planning, hazard control, and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health standards when performing work at heights.

As one of the leading causes of serious workplace incidents, falls from height remain a significant concern across construction and related industries. Through this training, participants were equipped with preventive strategies and safety measures aimed at reducing risks and strengthening workplace safety performance.

The session was facilitated by Roger B. Flores, a DOLE-accredited Occupational Safety and Health Consultant with extensive experience in workplace safety, disaster risk reduction and management, and emergency preparedness. Drawing from his industry experience, he shared practical insights and real-world applications that helped participants better understand the importance of maintaining safe work practices while working at elevated locations.
