QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted a Confined Space Safety Training (Webinar) for Dornier Technology Inc. on April 13.
The training focused on equipping participants with essential knowledge on the hazards associated with confined spaces, including atmospheric risks, limited entry and exit conditions, and the importance of proper safety procedures. Discussions emphasized safe entry protocols, risk assessment, and emergency response measures to prevent accidents in high-risk work environments.
Participants were guided on identifying confined space hazards, understanding permit-to-work systems, and applying appropriate control measures to ensure safe operations. The session highlighted the importance of preparedness, proper monitoring, and coordination when working in enclosed or restricted spaces.
The training was facilitated by Whomer Ricarte, an Occupational Safety and Health Practitioner, currently an HSE Inspector, Emergency Medical Technician, and Lead Internal Auditor, with 16 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry. His extensive field experience provided practical insights into managing confined space risks and implementing effective safety controls.
