Prescribed Basic OSH Training Course for Safety Officer 1 (SO1)
(Pursuant to Section 3 (n) of RA 11058 and Section 3 (v) of DO 198-18).

BOSH for SO1 is an 8-hour occupational safety & health orientation plus a 2-hour Training of Trainers designed to impart knowledge & skills on basic concepts & principles of OSH to enable potential safety officers to implement their company's OSH program.

It aims to equip participants with the basic knowledge and skills in identifying safety, health, and environmental hazards; determining appropriate control measures, how to respond to workplace emergencies and participating conduct of emergency drills, identifying the prescribed administrative requirements and penalties for violations, and confidently deliver OSH topics for workers.
