PASIG CITY — Continuing its investment in specialized workplace safety training, Bamacom Inc. once again partnered with QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC for a Confined Space Safety (CSS) Face-to-Face Training conducted on August 7, 2026, at 1401 & 1402 West Tower, Tektite Towers, Exchange Road, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

The latest training follows Bamacom Inc.’s previous Working at Heights program with QESH, further expanding the safety competencies of its personnel in managing high-risk work activities. This continued engagement reflects the company’s proactive approach to ensuring that employees are equipped with the knowledge needed to recognize hazards and perform their responsibilities safely.

The Confined Space Safety Training focused on the hazards associated with working in enclosed or restricted spaces, including atmospheric hazards, limited access and egress, and other conditions that may place workers at risk. Participants were guided on hazard identification, risk assessment, safe entry procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and the importance of proper preparation before confined space activities begin.

The session also reinforced the critical roles of communication, monitoring, supervision, and emergency preparedness in preventing confined space incidents. Through practical discussions and workplace-based scenarios, participants gained a clearer understanding of how established safety procedures and appropriate control measures contribute to safer operations.

The training was facilitated by Whomer Ricarte, an Occupational Safety and Health Practitioner, HSE Inspector, Emergency Medical Technician, and Lead Internal Auditor, with 16 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry. His extensive field experience provided participants with practical perspectives on managing high-risk workplace activities and implementing effective safety controls.
