Participants during the Webinar training conducted by QESH

QESH Training Center & Consultancy OPC conducted an Emergency and Disaster Preparedness Training Webinar for AADistribution Philippines Inc. on September 18, 2026, supporting the company’s efforts to strengthen workplace emergency readiness and develop a more prepared and resilient workforce.

Emergencies and disasters can occur with little warning, making preparedness an essential part of workplace safety. The training focused on helping participants understand the importance of recognizing potential emergency situations, establishing appropriate response measures, and knowing how to act when an incident threatens employees, facilities, or business operations.

Throughout the webinar, participants were introduced to key principles of emergency and disaster preparedness, including hazard awareness, emergency planning, appropriate response procedures, evacuation preparedness, communication, and the importance of clearly defined responsibilities during an emergency.

The program also emphasized that effective emergency preparedness begins long before an actual incident occurs. Having established procedures, informed employees, effective communication systems, and regular preparedness initiatives can significantly improve an organization’s ability to respond when unexpected situations arise.

Emergency Preparedness Guided by Field Experience

The session was facilitated by Lieutenant Commander Engr. Christopher "CJ" Josef Custodio, a Licensed Electrical Engineer, National Certified Emergency Medical Responder/Technician, and Certified American Heart Association Instructor with more than 11 years of experience in the emergency medical field.

Drawing from his extensive emergency response background, Custodio shared practical insights that helped participants understand how preparedness principles translate into real emergency situations. His discussions reinforced the importance of remaining alert, understanding established procedures, and responding in a coordinated manner during critical incidents.

The training also encouraged participants to recognize that emergency preparedness is a shared responsibility. While organizations establish systems and procedures, employees play an equally important role by understanding emergency protocols and being prepared to act appropriately when needed.

QESH expressed its sincere appreciation to AADistribution Philippines Inc. for entrusting its Emergency and Disaster Preparedness Training to QESH. The company’s initiative reflects a strong commitment to employee safety, organizational resilience, and proactive emergency preparedness.

Through this collaboration, QESH continues to support AADistribution Philippines Inc. in strengthening its workplace preparedness and fostering a workforce that is more informed, alert, and capable of responding to emergency situations.
